hi guys, I got a confusing one here, hope somebody can help. I have a customer w/ a 5slot carrier 206e 308 acs r3 308 vsmail4.1 have slowly replaced all modules except acs either due to expansion or problems. The secretary called in the morning to say that she is getting messages in her mailbox{10} of just static and white noise every hour or so, with no incoming calls going into it. Now just before the end of the day all other extensions are getting static with message playback???! All lines are clear and vm sounds fine when it picks up. I have had a problem at this office in the past with individuals getting locked out of there mailboxes randomly. Any clues, as i said I have replaced all modules except the processor. The vsmail is probly 6mo old. thanks in advance.

so far so good, the unit was pretty dirty due to some construction work. Cleaned all with contact cleaner.I was thinking the carrier was going bad also , but do you think that would cause the problems??

a little update!! Seems they had a puff back on there oil burner, hence the "black dust" that was all thru the carrier. Maybe I did get lucky just cleaning it, still working , no problems.
