I have a customer going from a key setup to PBX setup on a legend so they can install a PRI. They are distraught at the aspect of dialing a 9 to get an outside line. I wasn't aware you could setup the PRI pool as a pool button on a phone, but I thought I would ask. Can this be done? or they stuck with the dial 9?

If you put a pool button they will not need the 9. You will also have no ARS calling restrictions. I suggest setting it up right, they will balk because its a change but will get use to it fast.

If you setup the ARS tables you can elminate the 9 by adding it to the other digits section of the default local and default toll output tables
