does anyone know if you can make a partner system ring another ext than ext 10 when dailing 0. I can make it do it by doing #607,
but i dont want ext 10 to ring also. bottom line , I want to make ext 15 to ring by dailing 0 , but dont want ext 10 to ring. I
dont think you can do it because I think ext 10 is fixed as an operator ext. please help,
thanks stoltztec.

Is this not what the personal operator feature in voice mail is used for?

Suppose he doesn't have voicemail.......

I think, though, that you're stuck with extension 10 ringing. You could always re-assign extensions though.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong/

I may be over-simplifying things here, but would it be possible for you to just swap X10 with X15 by moving the cords at the main control unit? Sure sounds like that would be easier than messing with programming. Of course, I am assuming that you have moved the "operator person" to a different location and want to just use the existing extension.

How come there's always enough time to go back and fix it a second time?

You can change the dial 0 / timeout option to x15 versus x10. It is in the programming for selector codes.

First, don't program #607 - it is for use with a "cobot" automated attendant.

Are you talking about dialing 0 from the auto attendant/mailbox, or 0 on the intercom internally?

10 is fixed as 0 on the intercom, nothing you can do about that except swap 10 and 15.

If you mean from the AA or VM, then depending on which VM you are using, a combination of Call Answer Service Operator and Personal Operator may do what you want.

Why don't you post back a clearer description of what you want to accomplish, along with a list of the hardware.

thanks guys I believe it can't be done because it's fixed for ext 10. Moving the mod
plugs around on the module from ext 10 to ext 15 would do it but that's not what they wanted to do. they wanted ext 15 to stay where it was as ext 15 but to be able to ring
it by dailing 0. By the way there's no vm on
the system so forget the #607. Again thanks
for the input. stoltztec
