Does the Partner mail do a direct to box transfer from the auto attendant as opposed to ringing the phone first?
Thanks,

As I understand it, if you set up a selector code to transfer to mail box of the extension, it will do just that. I'm not to sure on the Partner Mail R3. When doing the config see if the option under selector code is there.

chazrc When you use a selector code it will trans the call to the extension and then your voice mail cover rings kick in so you will hear it ring. From your post It sounds like you want it to go right into VM without ringing the set, is this correct?
What exactly are you wanting it to do, there may be a way.

Sorry, I didn't see your last post. Yes, you are correct. They want the call to go directly to the box when someone dials an extension or presses the selector codes that coorespond to an extension on the auto attendant.

We can try that. However, wouldn't that present a problem when dialing internally?

How about a phantom box as a group with the set as the group owner, and set that phantom as 1 ring. But that still isn't a direct Feater 14 to box but they won't hear any ringing.
You may even set there coverage ring to 1 and tell them that's as direct as your going to get.
But you never know what TTT will come up with.

You're pretty limited on a VS-R3.
There is no "transfer to the mailbox of Ext. XX" available in the selector codes, so you can only transfer to the actual extension and cover to VM if unanswered. Yes, DND will get it there immediatly, but then you can't call the extension from inside the office.
Partner Messaging will allow you have a selector code transfer into a mailbox directly. You can also set the phone status for an extension as "without a phone" and even though you input the actual extension number, it goes directly to the mailbox. However, you don't get a message waiting light, and that's kind of a problem.
Hope that helps....
