I picked up a customer who has a Partner Mail VS R5. They want me to administer a directory box for them but I can't seem to get a call from AA1 to AA2 using a selecor code. I don't see anything in the manual about nested AA's. I didn't know if there was an ext# associated with the AA's so that I could do a mailbox transfer. The only way I can see to get to an AA is through a CO line. Thanks in advance, David

The R5 only supports a single day menu structure, no subdirectories though there are two announcements. There are 4 AAs but they are independent of each other, can't be used as a subdirectory to another as you want.
What I do is simply put the names and extensions in the main menu. You could do it with an announcement but the caller would have to dial *8 to get out of the announcement then the extension. Bit of a PITA.
Best bet is to upgrade to the current PM R7.0. That has a dial by name directory and all the subdirectories you could want.
