I just found a posting this morning for a job managing a call center system. Products mentioned were Definity G3r, S8700, CMS, and Intuity Audix.
I've been considered an expert on Mitel SX-2000, OPSMan, and ACD.
I went to WEDOPHONES website to grab manuals for a quick cross-over data-slurp - what a pile of them there are!
Can anyone here recommend the most essential ones for me to download?
Thanks in advance, jsaxe

As each product is proprietary, it would be, IMHO, very difficult to learn the mentioned Avaya products with some sort of offical training program. Second, you would probably find it hard to land the job without the proper certifications from Avaya. Maybe, GKAR, our resident G3 expert, can give you more detail.

I went though that about 7 years ago. I was a service tech doing installs and service work on various systems. Now I am an "systems admin". I only work for one company at a time. And only on Avaya Definity, Audix, octel, MM, CMS, etc. Very specialed field. But they are many LARGE businees that use the Avaya line so there is usually alot of work. This is where I started https://support.avaya.com There are more manuals here to make your head spin.

liquidvw,
Thanks, that's just what I needed.
I always said, a switch is a switch - they all do pretty much the same thing in pretty much the same way - you just have to learn the dialect, just like when my Fujitsu was forklifted away and replaced by a Mitel... "Oh, a PLID is an EN... I get it!"
