david99. I got your email. I don't have any of the "avaya" contracts at my desk. I only have a few left and once they expire I am moving to BP maintenance and saving over 50% per month.

If Avaya products are not purchased through an authorized distribution channel then it is Gray market and Avaya will not warranty the product. Even if an authorized BP buy equipment from a source other than an authorized distribution channel it will not have an Avaya warranty. If someone buys gray market equipment then the end user is at the mercy of the gray market seller to warranty the product.
I am a BP and if I went out of business, then my customers could still contact another BP for warranty issues and Avaya would honor the warranty.
