Just wondered if anyone has a cheat sheet or users guide for single line telephone users on Partner. I thought there used to be one in the old manuals but I'll be darned if I can find one. Any help would be appreciated. Chuck

The information is there, what limited functionality there is. I have written instruction sheets for a lot of things but that ain't one of them. Never had a customer need it because we never use single line phones for anything more than maybe emergency and other limited use functions.
I can't imagine anybody trying to do more than pick up a ringing line or picking up the extension to make a call. Anything more would be an exercise in frustration!

I copied the 2 or 3 pages out of the 10u100 (or whatever) partner cordless headset. There is some nice info regarding single line useage.

Or you can download the ACS r.7 service manual from the Avaya web-site.
Then starting on page 186 there is a section that expains all the features and how to use them on single line phones. Plus the pros and cons.
Hope this helps,

I thought someone might have one like in the old days when we used 2500 sets on a regular basis. I've got the service manuals...guess I'll just make one up. By the way it is for a customer that want's to use cordless phones so I am setting them up with single line instead of Transtalk. To expensive and one drop its too broke! Hal - I have lots of customers that still use single line phones off of their systems. Especially industrial areas where the key sets are just not tough enough to take the pressure. That is one of the great features about the Partner- you get your choice on every station port! Thanks Guys!
