Hi

is there some way to have the global ringing option that night service has for the day service?

There is one extension that when the VMS transfers to that extension, I want all the other extensions to ring with it

Is this possible during the Day setting, or only during the night service?

Thanks!

I think I hear you asking for the Voice Mail/Auto Attendant to transfer to ALL the extensions simultaneously. If this is correct, have it transfer to one of your 4 calling groups, and put the phones in the group. If you would also tell us what voice mail you are using with your ACS R3, there may also be options for voice mail coverage if no one answers that transfer.

ooh, sounds like a good idea,

Im using Mail VS R1

Now is there some way to instantaniously reverse that? IE. press a button on the telephone to have it only ring at that station?

thanks tommy

No there would not be any way to do that.

Basicly what you would be doing is setting up a calling group then have one of your selector codes on the AA piont to that group. Thus ringing all the phones in that group like TTT said before.

Or you can press intercom 7x (x being the calling group number 1-4) and ring all those phones in that group from any station. Or intercom * 7x to page all those phones.

Hope this helps,

You do have separate day and night menues. You could simply instruct the callers in one menu to dial the extension that you want to ring by itself. In the other menu tell them to dial extension 71 which will ring all the phones you have included in calling group 71. If you like both menues can be the same except for this one item.

Now, when you want to change the ringing use the night service button which you can label anything you want.

Whne you hit the Auto Attendant or a personal message, Press "*7". Then it will be as if you are sitting in front of your partner phone, mailbox followed by # and password followed by #.
