The principal(ext 11)has a noisy line, chased it back to the 206e 3.1 card. I had a 206e 4.1 refurbished spare, and was advised that it was OK to use as a replacement. Powered down the system, swapped cards and powered up...the new card didn't light up, some of the other cards didn't light up either, and no dial tone.Reversed the process, old card back in, and got dial tone back. Then discovered that all the sets have lost their programming! I had it powered down for maybe 2 minutes max. Should I put that 4.1 into another slot or just order another 3.1?

The programming is in the center processor card and the battery that holds the memory is dead options 1- replace the processor with a processor with a new battery and reprogram. 2- put a small battery back up on partner /reprogram and your probably ok for 2-3 years unless there is an extended power failure.
The partner cabinets are sometimes spooky putting cards in . the new release should work ,but sometimes they need to be banged with the palm of your hand on then there ok and sometimes not. I just had it with a Partner II ,i put a ref card in -nothing -put another card in all ok i brought back and put it in my partner and it was fine try another card or put yours in another slot
