I'm not sure there was a Pagepal, how about Pagepac 6?

If so it is one zone one way, just a basic paging amp. The "6" stands for 6 watts. I don't think the output impedance will tolerate much below 4 ohms so that means at most a couple of 8 ohm speakers at 3 watts each.

The speakers provided for this amp are actually 70 volt speakers. Because of the high impedance taps on the transformers you can use up to 18 though don't expect an awful lot of volume from them.

If you need more power you can use any PA amplifier with a line level input instead of the Pagepac. You wouldn't use the Pagepac at all, the PA amp would conect to the page port of your Legend and the speakers would connect to the PA amp.

PagePal is basically a UPAM, with the addition of Night Ring. It is the interface to take a Trunk port from a Legend, provide talk battery to the switch and 600-ohm output to connect to the input of an amp.
