I have partner ACS and a Partner Mail Rel 3 (PC Style). After a call has been answered at an extension, is their anyway to transfer the caller back to the auto attd. menu(as if they were dialing the main number all over again)?? Thanks

Make a guest mailbox in the Partner ACS and a mailbox matching it with a Class Of Service of 15. Put the extension in Auto VMS cover, and VMS Cover Rings of 1.

Then transfer the caller to the extension, and the Auto Attendant will answer.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I wasn't clear on how the call was being answered. *7 will get you back if the voice mail picked up and your personal greeting was being played. If YOU pick up the transferred call then you will have to do what Tommy says.

Cna you explain how to make a guest mailbox on the ACS. FOr some reason pages are missing from my manual and its the page on how to do that. I am a bit new to the ACS system and am trying to learn how to use it. Thanks

Not really a mailbox on the ACS but an intercom speed dial (DSS) button on your phone for the extension/mailbox you created on the VMS.

Just a note, COS of 15 does not accept transfers. Can this be a problem?

Create a box within the ACS dial plan- 10-49 though I am not sure it even needs VMS cover.

Find out for yourself, try it.
