ALright i have a weird one here. Put in an R7 ACS yesterday, set the lines to go to the Auto Attendant and follow the business schedule. Time and date are correct. When 5 pm came and the calls were supposed to get picked up immediately they still rang the 5 rings programmed for the day mode. I put a night button on X10, activated it and the calls were answered immediately as if they were in night mode. Any thoughts?

I assume you have Patner Messaging.

And are you sure you have the mail set to follow the weekly business schedule.
When you put that N.Service button on ext 10 did you set the mail to pick up on the weekly schedule and switch mode?

I have seen times when I would have to reset the date and time on the Patner to get the mail to take it before, even though it was correct to began with.

Sorry - it is a Partner Messaging. When i put the night button on it was set to "follow the business schedule". I went and reset the time and date as well as the setting to follow the business schedule.

Have you double checked #506 and #507?

Yep - one is set to always and the lines 1,2,3 are set to 5 rings during mode 1 (day) and 1 ring for mode 2 (night).

The partner messaging won't change the rings. You still have to use a night button. It will only change the the greeting. I have been through this and you would think it would change the rings but it doesn't. Maybe in release 8, 9. What do you exspect, it took them way to long to come up with the RCF feature.

That's the way it is. The Night Service determines the number of rings before answering, the Schedule determines which message answers.

The upside is you can turn on NS during the day, if the Operator leaves for a time, and the Day message will still play.

And, if they go home and forget to hit NS, it still answers (but on a delay) with the Night message.
