Trying to program a PartnerMessaging R7 with the software messasging program from Avaya R7.0.4 . Accessing with a laptop using a x over cable from the Ethernet port on the PC to the LAN port on the VoiceMessaging. I’m accessing the VMS and beginning to retrieve the info, but never get beyond “Retrieving Automated Attendant Information†prompt. Finally after 10 minutes a code comes up saving the program has been disconnected. Anyone ever had this happen? Can get into the VoiceMail with the phone.

Did you change the IP address on you PC to 10.0.0.43?

Yes, I can access the VMS and begin to retrieve information from the VM until it reaches the point as first mentioned.

No, I have not ever had that problem.
Do you have any problems with your PC droping from your network?
I quess what I am tring to say is it may be something with your laptop.
