Our merlin voice mail is down and i'm trying to know why. VM is a standalone Merlin Mail with 4 ports attached to a Merlin Legend 3.1. I guess 2 ports per card. When accessing vm (770) it just rings. I looked at the voice mail, I can only see 2 green lights, one per card. Should I'll be seeing 4 green lights instead of just 2? How can I diagnose what's bad in the VM box. I am just hoping that the problem is just one of the cards and we can still run with just 2 ports VM. Thanks

First thing you do, is power it off and then back on. You will hear it churning away for a few minutes, then the green lights should come on, one by one, then they will all go off, then back on quicker this time, then the 4th one will start blinking on and off.
If this happens for you, rebooting was sucessful. If not, it's time to call a tech or a sales person for a new voice mail.
