Hello everyone... I have a problem with call forwarding in Definity G3 v8 with Audix. I have my desk phone forwarded to my cell phone after 3 rings. I have set up my cell phone number in the remote coverage table and am using that number (r17) for the coverage path in my extension setup. All of the incomming calls get forwarded fine after 2 rings at my desk phone, however the forwarded call drops after exactly 90 seconds and the caller starts to hear ringing again. It has been working fine for almost 2 years now and this problem started occuring in February. Any thoughts? I was just told to look at the "condition release" in the VM, but not sure what that is. Any help is appreciated. I have had vendors check it with no outcome.

Not sure why VM would play into it at all...if i have this straight...call goes to set...after 2 rings goes to coverage path, pt 1 of coverage path is R17 (your cell). So the call rings to the cell and a conversation takes place for 90 seconds and then drops with the caller hearing ringback? If this is correct the call has nothing to do with audix.

Did your outside lines recently change to ISDN PRI? Definity will supervise the coverage and if your cell phone go's to VM the phone system will try to bring it back and the return path may be invalid. The definity will not blind transfer using a coverage path. You would have to change to a vector route to divert the call.

Is there only 1 coverage point (r17) or do you have a hunt group after the remote coverage?
