We have 2 separate entities in one building, using the same phone system ( merlin magix )
company 1 used AA1 and wants it to pick up immediately which it does.. that works fine..

However, company 2 is set for auto attendant 2( 3 specified trunks were assigned ) and this works fine as well... except they dont want it to answer immediately, they want the AA to pick up after 5-6 rings.

My question is, where is the setting for this??? thanks in advance

Hopefully, company 2's lines are in a seperate pool form company 1's. If not, change them to 2 different pools.

For immediate answer, simply assign the pool of lines to the calling group for voice mail.

For delayed answer, it's a little more involved. Take an unused calling group, with no members. Assign the pool of lines here. Using the time based overflow setting for this group, make it overflow to the voice mail calling group. In the Merlin Messaging, you'll also need to create a mailbox with the same extension number of this calling group, and point it to Auto Attendant No. 2.

Hope this helps, PM or email me if you need more help.

That works, as long as that person doesn't need a mailbox of their own. Good work!
