Any fixes or suggestions for curing time loss issues on various Parnter ACS releases. Seems that this is a common question from customers.

Thanks,

Erik

Not that I am aware of.

We too have customers call in every year or so and have us walk them through setting the time due to loss.

Easiest fix is to hit feature 00, left intercom 2 times, type #103, enter time in military format, feature 00 and you're done!! Seems like they are off about 10 minutes a year.

I have seen some that are off 10 minutes a month. Some are worse than others. Just like any free running watch or clock (or PC) you are going to have this problem.

If it bothers you learn how to set the time and do it as often as you feel necessary.

The most (comparably) expensive key system has a problem that "just has to be dealt with"? I don't get it. The supposedly biggest name in phone systems in the United States and that's the answer? Just reset the clock every now and then?

My customers would never allow me to get away with that.

Alot of systems don't have very accurate clock's.
It suck's but it only takes 30 seconds if you know #103^.Setting the time is one of the main thing's a customer should know. You very well can't charge for a time set.
