I have a acs partner lev.5 that the customer would like to have the auto attendant forward a call to external 800 # when the option 2 is selected. I could not find this in the book.

YOu will need to login to voicemail (Intercom 777) and access the System Administrator Mailbox.
Once you access the System Admin Mailbox you press 9. THe system will prompt you with several different prompts. You wish to modify the Day and/or Night Auto Attendant, so prees the appropriate response.
If you listen to your choices, you will want to modify the appropriate menu 1=day, 2=night.
If you follow the prompts, it will walk you right through everything.

Just keep in mind if you do get it working that it will tie up 2 lines and you may experience a volume issue that is too low. This may be something that is better suited to be handles at the CO.
