On a Partner ACS R5 system with 2 206E R4.1 cards in the following slots from left to right:

206E, 206E, ACSR5, PM R7

A customer had a new PM R7 system in the box from some time ago with 4 port card and when I installed it, when I Intercom 777, all it says is "Welcome to Avaya Partner Messaging - this system is in test mode. To test touch tone recognition, press 1. To test voice recording and playback press 2." Any ideas if this means that the R7 module OR the 4 port card are bad? I can't find any mention of this message anywhere online ar at Avaya's site.

Thanks,
Dino

Make sure you have the 4 port card in the left slot. If it still doesn't work I think its an issue with the 4 port card.

Yea, that's what I figured and what I was afraid of. I carefully reseated the port card but it was already in slot 1 as I believe you still can't put anything in slot 2.

Thx,
Dino
