I have always been involved in the past with Nortel products, and I am still quite busy on that side of telecom. I have just been retained to do work on the Avaya product line of Merlin Magix, and have obtained a copy of WinSPM 9.0.
I understand that I also need the Avaya 355AF adapter which I have a pin-out procedure.Does anyone know where I could obtain some books on the Merlin Magix, and could someone tell me the correct procedure for connecting to the Merlin Magix through direct connection.RJ-45 etc.

Thanks,

Incidently if anyone is looking for a download of WinSPM here is a good link

Avaya makes most all documentation available for download from their site. WinSPM has always been available there too.

I am in the far Western Part of Kentucky about 5 miles from LBL and 10 miles out of Benton, Ky.

Do you know where I can get a hard copy of the installation manual?

I have the downloaded version from Avaya's site, but I would like to have one to keep in the truck with me.
Thanks,

Duke

Do you know a Paul Cunningham down there? He is a old AT&T tech. Real good guy. We have worked together on some projects in the past.

Oh,.....by the way I'm in the eastern part of the state Paintville and Lexington.

Mike,

Don't know him.I am originally from Lexington, but took a job with Verizon back in 2000,after I retired from GTE in 1998. Alltel came on the scene and I retired again to go back contracting.

Thanks to all for the manual info!!

Duke

Duke,

Another option is (I think that they would still do it.) to take your download copy to Kinko's on CD or whatever and have them print it for you. Don't know the cost but know it has been done before. One of our customers had their manual printed off the Avaya CD that came with their partner system, had it done at kinko's.
