We had a near-by lightning strike. We have all the suggested lightning protection units installed on a/c and lines. Now everything still works, but the date and time display went to 00000. When I try to program the date and time the entry returns to 000000. Also the voice mail fails to light the message lights. I can use feature 09 and 10 to turn lights on and off. I've never seen this trouble before. I've reset the system and powered off, as well, with the same result. All memory except the date and time remains intact. Anyone see this before???

Yes I have,.................sounds like you need to replace the R.6 processor.

Thanks Mike. That's my guess also. I've just never seen this one before. The time and date must have its own little spot on the memory board that got damaged. Without the lightning protection units the whole system probably would have went down. Several other systems on the same city block were toasted.

I had a ACS a very years back that took a hit and would post the right time on the phones but would not in the V. Mail.
And had a Partner II just a few weeks ago that did what you just explained and in call restriction (#401) would show a ? mark where you select option 1,2 or 3.
