I have a customer that wants to record all calls to/from three or four extensions and store calls for one to two weeks. They are probably on the phone an average of 50% of the time so we are looking at storage capacity needs of about 160 hours or so (4 people x 4 hours /day x 5 days / week x 2 weeks) Anybody have any experiences or suggestions?

USBrecorder.com the standalone units attach at the nadset side and go to the PC. Only limit is your harddrive. I think it's them, but there is another unit that will take 8 CO lines at a time and you can put it in the telco room so the people don't know when you are recording.

*Just a reminder that there are laws governing the recording of telephone conversations. In some states they are requiring that both parties are notified.*

I read about this in the in this forum when I was researching voice recording. This will record 2 X T1(48 Trunks) to a computer using just a regular USB 2.0 Cable! The software also said that it will lookup the caller ID information for each number. They also have products for analog likes with the basic same features. https://www.digital-loggers.com/T1/T1.html I'm been thinking about getting one but I don't know how to have warn people calling in that their call is being recorded. I guess I need a voicemail system or something.

We currently use Nice Systems. Great product but sort of pricey. We have on Total Recording and one Quality Assurance Recorder for our call center.
If it doesn't ring, I can't help you

There are recorders that will insert the required beep. Others get around the requirement by having the auto-attendant or ACD recording say, "This call may be monitored or recorded for training purposes."
