I had just installed a S.O.E. in a physical therapy office, when we got a call from them saying that their night button wasn't lighting up. Further talking to them showed that my programming was gone! Soooo I hustled down there, cleared it, then re-programed it from scratch (it didn't take long, only 3 lines and 4 extensions).

I know the R7s have been known to loose their programming (pre-patch anyways), but an R6?!

Has anyone else seen this sort of thing?!

Possible. Time for an in warranty replacement I would think.

I lost my night auto attendant routing out of no where earlier this week and had to rebuild it. Maybe there is something in the air wink

Its more than just the night service. Jordon says he lost all his programming. If the batteries were not in correctly or dead, and the customer had a power loss, (assuming no RAC card was installed) you would lose your programming. Otherwise, sounds like Hal has good advice.

Keep in mind that you now have to order the Remote Access / Backup card separately for the R6 - it may not even have one!

You didnt say where the r6 came from.

Was in your stock or purchased.

Either way I would look @ the batteries first

and proceed per above recommendations.

We get all our equipment from Catalyst. And yes, you have to order the RAC/Backup card seperately.

The building where we installed it is located in a small town (hence their infrastructure is not the best). I don't know of a power failure.

When I got there, I just cleared it and started over (several of the programmed buttons went blank, so that seemed to make more sense than troubleshooting every parameter I programmed).

I suggested to our team that we do an in-warranty replacement, but that call is not up to me...we're watching it for the time being...

Thanks for your responses!
