I'm getting the following error message in the Windoze SBS 2003 event viewer:
Faulting application vmprov5svc.exe, version 3.2.15.0, faulting module vmpro5svc.exe, version 3.2.15.0, fault address 0x000589af.
The only answers I've been able to find are:
a) Make sure the services are set to restart when there is an error. Which I've done...but that's not a fix.
b) Reinstall the software. I really don't want to do that as it is a remote client.
This is happening infrequently, but enough to cause an issue. The customer's IT department is checking to make sure all Windows patches are up to date (as they can be with MS).
Any ideas?

Are their any other software running on the server? I noticed it is running on a SBS 2003 server. I had a very similar problem with voicemail pro on a server that had a screen saver on it. The voicemail would crash if the system was log on to and the screen saver would run.
Long story short, see if there are any other programs running on the server that might conflict with voicemail.

We had the same situation with the same verison of VMP. We tracked the problem down to an auto attendant branch for dialing user extensions. It turned out that people were dialing extension numbers that were no longer on the IPO (the customer changed from extensions that were 9XXX to 1XXX). We had to set up VMP to read the string entered and repeat if the string started with a number that wasn't a valid extension number. This cured the problem of the VMP service on v3.2 failing.
