I saw a post over in Tek-Tips that Avaya may reverse its decision not to release a patch for the Partner ACS that loads the new schedule. https://tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1297964&page=1 The author of the post, who is a major contributor to the Tek-Tips Merlin Systems forum, says he has it on "GOOD AUTHORITY" that a patch will be provided. I hope he is correct.

I wouldn't believe anything like that from members of Tek-Tips. Most are IT/CG wanna be phone people. I kinda think I would believe the Avaya announcement before I would believe "Merlin Man".
Now, if this came from Tommy who is over there also I would believe it.

merlinman was a former tier 111 engineer for AT&T ,Lucent, Avaya ,so he may ve some inside info,all tho i belive Avaya could give a shit about it and will not do anything, so that we all have to buy new equip. + i work for all from 1969 & i don't think i'm a wanna be phone person

Can you patch a Partner or do you have to upgrade the entire software? Maybe they'll make a R.7 for the 308 Control Unit!

sorry about that ,been text messenging with my grand kids too long, should have taken a typist class in high school ,but took shop. as for some of us we are in the business of providing a service to all customers not just to be here to make the mighty dollar to sell new equipment as for MM I would rather listen to him than , I gotta get out of this business.
