On the Partner Systems, is there a way to screen calls or does the Voicemail allow the caller to announce their name prior to transferring to the extension?
I don't mean listening to the caller while they leave a message then intercepting the call.

If it is a supervised transfer the tranfering party can announce the call to the recieving party.

Partner family does not support an automated screened transfer via any of the automated attendant products. In theory, you could use a 3rd party auto attend that supported screened transfer... Mike

To make it clear, it would have to be manually transferred call. Somebody would answer and transfer the call to the requested extension. If the person who transfered the call doesn't hang up they can converse with the extension owner as to who the caller is. Once they hang up the caller is connected with the extension.
So the answer to your question is no, the messaging system does not allow the caller to announce their name, that's what CID is for.
