First time posting and first install since i mostly integrate card access with CCTV and HVAC. I cannot get this ACS to cooperate:

System configuration:

• 1 – ACS6 Processor
• 3 Phone lines
• 8 extensions
• 2-34 button
• 2-18 button
• 3- 6button w/ display
• 1 – Door phone
• 2x4 box voice mail

Scenario 1:

• All extensions ring silently once and then go into auto attendant.
• Auto attendant says: If you would like to speak to Joe press 1, if you would like to speak to Sam press 2.
• 3 extension would ring for Joe if 1 is pushed and 3 extensions would ring for Sam if 2 is pushed….Etc
• These extensions would ring 5 times and if no answer then caller would go into the recipients’ mailbox.
• Preferably, I would like all phones to ring distinctively for buttons pushed 1 or 2.

Scenario 2:

• Any of two lines to ring all 7 extensions simultaneously
• Anyone can pick-up any extension without pushing any buttons
• After 5 rings then caller is sent a general mailbox to illuminate designated extension(s). 1 line to accept faxes on first ring but not audibly. Any extension can use this line for outgoing only
• Preferably I would like the auto attendant to say “to lease a message for Joe press 1, if you would like to leave a message for Sam press 2…..etc.

Problems I am having: only certain phones ring and then some phones ring in succession (hunting) I would like all phones to ring for each of the 2 numbers at all extensions then after five rings then line would go into voice mail.

I don’t think that these scenarios are possible with this system. If anyone could help with a few pointers I would appreciate it. This system is for residential use since they want all the features that come with professional system like this.

Todd:

A "PM" is a private message. You can send one to a person by clicking on the icon that resembles two people shaking hands next to an envelope. This permits you to communicate with that person off-line to discuss issues or topics not permitted in public areas.

If you have received a PM, you will see in the upper left-hand corner of any page you visit (right below "TECH-SUPPORT BULLETIN BOARD"), you will see a flashing "you have a private message" icon. Click on this and you will get to the private area of your profile to read it. You may then reply there as well.

Welcome, Todd. We hope you learn a lot or at least get an answer to your dilemma.
