Gear: avaya ip office 406 with control unit analog pots2 installed.
There’s three analog trunks plugged to the pbx, which are authorized for national long distance calls.
This trunks are identified with number 3 (for outgoing group id and incoming group id)
The system short codes are assigned via user rights so that when (authorized) user dials 9 (outgoing digit) and later 0X 123-4567, the call is routed via operator 07, i.e. 07 123-4567 for any of the three lines.
However when a call is generated the call status shows me that the outgoing call line is line 5, and if any other user tries to dial another LD call, that call just doesn’t go out, line 6 and line 7 never activate.
Note: (telephones in my country are conformed just for eight digits)
thanks ZebrAYA

Have you tried to put the short code in the user short codes to test it? What does the short code look like? If I understand thei right. You have an incoming/outgoing group as 3. Lines 6 and 7 are both in line group 3. When the user dials 9, it should go out over line group 3?
It sounds like the shortcode that is matching is [9], N, 0

mongo! thanks for your attention
meanwhile i try directly with the user short codes i 'll show you more details
indeed I set an incoming/outgoing group as 3 composed by the lines 5,6 and 7
Actually user rights are used to BLOCK non authorized users rather than translate LD operator digits.
this translation is done on general short codes.
the codes must make the LD call through group 3
code: [9]05N function: Dial number: 07N line groud id: 3 locale: (empty) force account code: unchecked
code: [9]07N function: Dial number: 07N line groud id: 3 locale: (empty) force account code: unchecked
code: [9]09N function: Dial number: 07N line groud id: 3 locale: (empty) force account code: unchecked

NEWBIE ERROR!
Well, the solution to this problem is given, by an engineer of my Avaya Silver Business Partner…
I had left the LINE > analog options > trunk type > OUT OF SERVICE! In the line 6 and 7. So effectively the lines could not rotate because only the line 5 was in “LOOP STARTâ€Â. Once this parameter was changed (and the machine rebooted) everything is working fine.
Anyway as a good engineer I’ll keep on checking the differences between configurations and how they work regarding the outgoing call routing.
Thanks for your help!
