i HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH A AVAYA DEFINITY AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE. THEY WANT TO RELOCATE 24 USERS TO ANOTHER SITE. WE HAVE POINT TO POINT T-1 NOW USED FOR DATA. WE COULD ADD T1 CARDS TO THE DATA ROUTERS AND RUN VOICE PIGGYBACKED ON THE DATA CIRCUIT. WHAT PRODUCT DO I NEED AND HOW DO I SEND 24 DIGITAL SETS {6408D+} TO THE NEW SITE, THEY ARE ALSO BEHIND A AUTO ATTENDANT / CALL QUE / VOICEMAIL SYSTEM. THIS NEEDS TO BE TRANSPARENT TO THE USERS..HELP

Others will have much better information that I do but this is what I believe.
I have two locations in one town and run the calls over a point to point T-1 within a 3 mile span. We have a csu and router at each end. 16 channels are for voice and 7 channels are for data and 1 channel is for display.
You simply need to have a digital port card at the remote location to run the digitals. We have an auto attendant on at night and when a caller comes through the main number they simply enter the extension for any telephone at either site and are connected. I know the term is "DCS'ed" to each other. All of our calls are transparent to the caller that we even have more than one facility.
I'm sure the programming is deeper then that but maybe someone else can fill in the blanks.

We have used the MCK 6000 series extenders. they are now marketed by Citel. https://www.citel.com/Products/EXTender.asp You will not need T1 cards. Digital ports hook up the the extender at the PBX site then digital phones are hooked up to extenders at the remote sites along with a pots line for remote site 911. Works like phones plugged in at the main site By the way your caps lock is on

What software version are you running? A good solution is to hang an LSP off of your S8XX0.

DCS is a good option. It is essentially X.25 over an ISDN link and certainly doesn't require a full T1 (any number of channels is acceptable, plus a 9600 bps D-Channel). I've accomplished this over everything from 56k voice muxes to VoIP circuits using UDP encapsulation.
I like the LSP idea. A very good solution.
The MCK extenders are just OK. Lots of experience with them has shown me that permanent port failure (following a power down/up) is all too common for their high price.
