Not at all. This (Avaya) is a "public" forum and while it is true techs do post here anybody can also just by signing up. Public forums are also available to all search engines and anybody who just wants to lurk without signing up.

In depth information- that not found in user documentation as well as things like pricing and other dealer information is not allowed in the public forums. This is not so it's kept from techs but from the customers and other end users who can freely see it and possibly use it to our disadvantage as business owners.

The place to freely discuss such trade information is in the Installer's Forum. This is not a public forum and is open to all techs and other members of the trade. You have the required number of posts so if you are interested and can show an affiliation with the trade you are welcome to join here.

We look for quality not necessarily quantity as the criteria. You could have 1000 posts worth of worthless drivel and still not be admitted. If you contribute information that demonstrates your knowledge of a particular product or the trade in general, and not just asking questions, you will be considered.
