Hi

First of all

I m new here .. and i m just too curious about one fact
we got Acs 6 at home, Voip was offered on Cable modem

After a day or two problems occured with Voice mail
ppl were unable to leave voice msgs , and when there was nobody to answer the call after a transfer from the AA line was left open and ringing constantly

Is there anyways to fix the problems with thoses devices ?

Adjust Co disconnect time .. Do nothing in this case .

Sounds like your cable company does not provide the signal to your Partner system that tells it when the caller has hung up. All "real" phone companies do. It's of no importance with a simple single line phone such as most people have in their house (and that's what VoIP from cable companies are really designed for) but when you are using a system such as your Partner, that disconnect signal is needed to tell it to take the line off hold or stop recording when the caller hangs up.

I would talk to the cable company about this but I doubt that you will get anywhere. They probably won't know what you are talking about. There are devices that will recreate the signal (called CPC) but I have no experience with them. They are available from Mike Sandman. https://www.sandman.com/
