Have a customer that just switched from copper to an E&M T1.
I don’t do a lot of work on these systems and this is the only one I’ve done from scratch with a T1. That said here is what they want
They want the T1 line on an incoming call to ring and appear just as the copper lines did.
The received digits from the CO are 2 and starting a 7710-7729 so when a call comes in on 7710 we receive the 10 causing the operator phone to ring and I’ve given the second operator a coverage key to answer the call but when the second operator is on the phone and hangs up she can not see a call that started ringing when she was on the phone.
I’ve looked at using SSA but you can not assign them to an operator phone I’ve also tried setting up a coverage group and renumbering it as the incoming DID and that caused both phones to ring but the call would not go to voice mail after 4 rings.
So if anyone knows of a way to setup the system so that after the main DID is called it will ring both phones it would really help.

I am just wondering what kind of Mode system is in right now: Key or Hybrid? There is two ways to see all lines ringing: First: is to assign all lines on the Operator's phones and have an Appearance if you have 28 but.phones or Second: take all lines away and make more Icm.(up to 8) to see all incoming calls on both Op's phones but have only one in VM Group Coverage to go to VM. But you are going to end up in Ext's 10 personal MB untill you are making that MB as a AA to be able to play Main Greeting. Renumber Ext.10 to different number to make system go to both Oper's phones when 7710 dialed.
But, honestly, I dont think that 2 digits numbering plan for Company with T1 is a goog idea. Besides why T1 w/E&M instead of PRI?
