Guys, I have a customer who has a partner r7 installed in her house, and she wants to be able to have all extensions join in on active calls. I turned privacy off and even programmed a privacy button so the users could turn it on and off, but it is not working as intended. With privacy off in the system, and off by the button, users are still not able to pickup an ongoing call on line 1 (or any other line). Any thoughts/suggestions ?

I'm thinking some of the early release R.7's had a problem with privacy.
What version is the R.7 you are working with?

It is a release issue - when the R7's first had the problem of not retaining their programming during a power failure, the 1st patch made available also caused permanent privacy.
You need to patch up to "K" revision.

You can't use the backup/restore card. Must have a 8mb linear flash card.

Hello,
I seem to have a hard time getting an upgrade card from my vendor. Saying that they are in short supply. Does anyone know where I can get a card to upgrade the 3 or 4 R7 systems I have?
Thanks,
-jr
