Is there any flavor of Intuity or AUDIX that does Unified Messaging? A potential client claims that he owns a stand-alone PC with the words "Intuity" on the front. He also claims that his voicemail used to arrive as email, but it has since broken. I'm not so sure.
I know that Avaya bought Octel, partially for it's UM feature and partially for the customer base. There was a brief time when the Octel box had the Avaya or Lucent branding on the housing. I wonder if this customer has one of those boxes. Any thoughts?
I'm trying to qualify a customer and prepare myself before I make a rather long drive to troubleshoot this.

I am pretty sure the Intuity LX will do UM but it wasn't the best thing Avaya ever did. They had a lot of troubles with those boxes and UM in general.

all the Intuity Audix units can be used with Unified Messaging, It sounds like the customer is talking about Internet messaging or the manager feature. when you talk about of Unified Messaging that used ModeCode integration and it was used to talk to several types of switchs, definity switchs,Merlin Legend and so on. we would have to talk futher with the customer to understand what there needs are.

You can have a server poll your intuity with POP3 for new messages. It's not great, but I have seen it work.
