Techs, I was wondering how to pass the ANI over a tie trunk. Right now I'm just passing a name and tac code.
Thanks

Richard, I have a vdn pointing to a vector that has a step that hits the tie tac and and then a vdn at the other site. I don't see that option at the vdn or trunk level. I'm not using a station extenison other then the end point and changing that didn't work.
Any other ideas? Thanks

The first thing that stands out is you using TAC's to move calls. It's better to use AAR. Rather that cut and paste something, this thread may help. https://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1284636 For me, the risk of changing from dcs to qsig is not greater then the reward. But I may need to expand my dialplan past 6 digits soon, so qsig here I come.... Still with qsig, you will loose ani once the call is answered. But in your case you using a VDN and not a station, so it should work. I think....

I'm not sure you will be able to unless you have PRI or Ip trunks. I know that here we couldn't until we cut over to PRI trunks.
