I have a customer that is taking bids on a new system. Has 45 phones and 2 lines. He wants to keep all of his analog phones. Partner I thought would be a good idea. I am just not sure about one feature. He wants to be able to program in wake up calls. No voicemail or any other frills. When I was in programming the other day I saw Wake up Call Button. Does this mean what I would like it to?

Yes, the Wake Up button was added with a small motel/B&B in mind. Only available on Ext. 10, press Wake-Up, press the Auto-Intercom button for the room, dial the time in military format.

TTT is all over this.

However, The "WAKE UP SERVICE" in PARTNER is not as "HARDY" as a similar feature in the Legend/Magix.

In the Legend/Magix, the MAIN CONSOLE can have a notification of a "MISSED" wake up call as well.

Also, the "WAKE UP" feature in the PARTNER will either send Music On Hold or Silence, dependent on whether or not you have MOH, whereas, the Legend/Magix will ALWAYS send a TONE ALERT when answered.

Not to mention, the Legend/Magix allows a much better remote Programming/Maintenance interface.

Of course, I fully understand the cost constraints.

RULE NUMBER 2, "THINKIN' WON'T GET IT, YOU GOTTA KNOW!" RULE NUMBER 3, if you need TIER-3 SUPPORT on a LEGEND or MAGIX, go to http://home.comcast.net/~merlinman -
