Having trbl with miss dialing at times is a rel 4.1 and our switch is a meta switch

Which model phones is having this trouble WINDY?

Also, that is the lastest version out for the IPO.
Have you contacted the people that sold/installed the IPO?

Phones are Avaya 5410's. We have spoken with the supplier who configured the system, but he's a computer guy and speaks a wierd language.

What do you mean "miss" dialing. Calls being routed wrong? Not going out at all? Going over wrong lines?

Explain exactly what is happening. If you need remote assistance. Someone here will be able to help.

I would, however question, why your installer can not help you. They should be responsible for that system, as it is fairly new.

Sorry for the confusion. We are the installer's. The phones will sometimes not dial the correct number dialed. We get a recording, "that number is not recognized." If you use redial, it usually goes through. It doesn't matter which phone or line you use. Thanks

Have you checked this against your SMDR or a digit crabber?

Use SSA to "trace" the extension you are dialing from.

It will show what number you dialed out, as well as what short code you matched to get out.

See if it follows the same ARS, as when you redial. Maybe it is grabbing a different short code when you use redial....shouldnt, but this will start your journey...
