The voice mail ports need to be programmed into hunt group 7, and those vm port extension numbers depend on which other cards are in the system, and which slots they are located in.
So, if you didn't do that programming, 777 won't work.
Also, sometimes the VM cards don't interact well with some older cards, like 206 and 400 cards, and you end up configuring them in an unconvential manner.

78 and 79 are used for the PVM card - reprogram it with the right extensions and you will be all set.

78 and 79 are only for the Flash card mail that plugs into the processor. If the VS is in slot 4 (just right of the processor) then add 5 and 6 to the last extension in slot 2. (Example: If your last extension in slot 2 is 33, then your 2 voice ports would be 38 and 39. But programming has nothing to do with the little green LED in the center. If that's not lit, you may have a bad VS.

There no .. other card in carrier Stand alone Acs + Vms r.5 box 4x40 Mailbox If this is a 5-slot carrier, put the VS mail in the 1st slot, and of course the ACS in the center slot. If this is a 2-slot carrier, you're OK from here. Your voice mail ports are 20 through 23
