New poster here!!! Awesome forum you have here!!
I did a search and didn't come up with a answer to my question so here goes......

We have two businesses next door to each other with a common phone system (Funeral Home and Flower Shop). The system has two lines for each business that are all on the same system, (we can answer each others calls when needed)

The problem is that the ring volume is the same for all lines over at the flower shop and they would like to make their lines louder than the other two. It was like this when we first set it up, but somehow it changed and I can't remember how to do it.

Thanks in advance!!!

No way to adjust the ring volume per line on any Partner system so you must be mistaken. You can use delayed ring to have those extensions ring on two lines after about three rings.

The ACS allows for different ringtones on a per line basis so you might want to upgrade.

It would seem to me that the best solution would be to have only the appropriate lines ring at each shop, is there a reason they have all lines ringing at both?

Did the flower shop have ringer or chime attached, and set to ring only for funeral lines? Did they have to push line button to answer those lines?

I was wondering that same thing but that still doesn't set ringing louder only different.

Thanks for all the replys!!

The lines for the funeral home ring at the flowers shop so they can answer for us if we need to step out. The lines for the flower shop don't ring at the funeral home, but I can see the line light up when they get a call and such...

Perhaps the Funeral home lines at the flower shop were on a delay but I don't think so. The way I recall it, their lines(flower shop) rang louder and ours were much softer.

They did not have a seperate ringer attached and yes I do believe they had to press a button to answer the funeral home lines.

If you go to system and remove cover what does center card show for model/release?

That may be what we need to do and then just have them set the funeral home lines to ring when we have them cover our phones.

How do I turn the ringer off for the funeral home lines and not affect their lines???

BTW, I believe the system is still set up that if our two lines are used then it rolls over to one of their lines and the same for them.
