How can i convert a sip trunk into one (or many) sip endpoint(s)?
I have an Avaya IP 500 PBX, it has support for sip ip trunks, but none for sip terminals, what kind of gadget could I use to have ip sip phones plugged to the system?
:p

I could be wrong, but I thought the system did all the magic to handle the SIP trunks, not a particular telephone.

You can either wait about a year or so for SIP endpoints to be added to the IPO or setup an Asterisk server with the SIP endpoints and SIP trunk(s) to the IPO

SIP is only available on the IPO currently to provide lines to the IPO system itself. From there the communication is handled by the normal IPO users, SCN's, etc.
I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!
