Is there a way to completely default a Merlin Messaging Release 1.1.9?

You bet there is, small cost involved though.

I would also add that defaulting should always be done for any new install of new, refurbished, or used equipment prior to any programming. Failure to do so will come back to bite you in many cases. This is true for almost all phone, or voicemail systems, simply re-recording is not advised, and even new systems are not in a defaulted state in all cases.
I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!
