Tell Him it's an expensive feature without learning the feature codes.
In my experience if you get a couple of years out of these high priced adjunct cordless contraptions you have already got your money back!
Call pickup, Group pickup, direct station ringing.
Night bell over paging call pickup. Transfer to ex or group.
Think of the cordless as a single line in Pool and the feature codes available for single line stations.

He's familiar with the phones. Has has it in the past and wants it again. Thus my quandary.

Well, it should work. If he has had them and is familiar with them and is asking for them again that's 90% of the battle. He should know what to expect.

What port on ETR card? Make sure the port is not T/R(13-16). Try to reset a radio module and do registration again with Legend/Magix type. It should give you a proper maping. have you try on another Magix or Partner system? You have to make sure you are using the right Type(letter)

Vad brings up a good point. The last few ports on an ETR module can be configured as either T/R or ETR. If you are connecting the radio module to one of those ports, check the configuration.

Originally posted by RickD: No, I haven't tried a telset yet. Duh! Should have done that much earlier. Have used a buttset on the voice pair. No troubles noted with it. ETR ports programmed as ETR ports do NOT get dial tone on a butt set. SO, you need to reprogram the port from S/L to ETR, or use one of the lower 10 ports.
