What is the equivilant of the Voice Coil output on a Harris Paging Amp? Is it 25V? or something completely different? Also, I'm looking for a bi-directional box type voice coil speaker. Is Harris still out there? Or better yet, anyone have one collecting dust in their basement

I don't believe Harris ever specified the outputs of their small Page Pac amps in impedance as is normal practice. They just provided a chart indicating the number of their speakers that could be connected. I believe their speakers had 45 ohm voice coils also.
A 25 volt (or a 70 volt) output could be 8 ohms depending on the amp wattage output.
Any speaker can be used as a microphone so you won't have any problems there.

Harris 'voice coil' output IS 25V. Ditto the ATT/etc Page-Pac. As for the talkback speaker, as Hal said any Line operated (25V, 70V, and 100V) can be used as a talkback speaker. In this case, 25V. ATT still has them, Clarity and Valcom come to mind, TOA, and a lot of others. John C. (Not Garand)

Well, Bi directional? The Valcom is the best choice.
If You have to wire a talk back and a Page speaker this also depends on the noise in the given area..
Valcom is a bit more expensive for the customer. If you are looking for a talk back in a specific zone or area Viking has a cheap one. It's OK but not as good as valcom when dealing with db sound levels.
The noise level is the key and success for any talk back unit.
You did not say if it was a Loading dock?

Hmmm... When I said Bi-directional, I didn't mean a talk-back. I meant a speaker that projected east & west. Sort of like this.... https://www.bogen.com/products/hornspeakers/hornimagesL/BDT30A.jpg Except a box type.... used to use em in hallways back in the day.... as it turns out, I no longer need it. But thanx to all that responded.

Atlas makes that horn for Bogen, you can find it on their site. "Back in the day" when Atlas was Soundolier they made several models with cone type speakers in a bi-directional arrangement for hallways. The most popular was a round, brushed stainless steel can type affair with a wall bracket. Another was square with I think a fake vinyl woodgrain finish. Could hang from a wall or ceiling. Didn't look but I betcha somebody still makes them if you are into that 60's look.
