Presently, if an outside call is established on any of our 6 lines, another user can accidently (or intentionally) join the call by pressing the same line button. I'd like to prevent this from happening because we need more privacy in our calls. What feature allows this behavior? What is it called? How can I change it?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can assign "Automatic Privacy" to each extension, through system programming #304, or you can assign a Privacy Button to an extension (Feature 07) and when that extension has his privacy turned ON, no one can intrude on his calls.
Personally, I assign automatic privacy to all extensions except voice mail ports, in case a call slips to the auto attendant and you want to break in on it.
