we're adding 2 800 mxl modules and a carrier to an existing legend r3.
will the system recognize the new cards and assign extension numbers, or do i need to do a board renumber and then reprog the ports back to their previous ext numbers?

as long as i'm bugging you, what are the pin outs of the admin jack to use the spm program?

much appreciated
rich

Rich,
System will recognized new cabinet and cards and assign extensions numbers. You don't need board renumbering but even if you do it's not going to change your numbering plan.
I am just wonder why you need pin out for Admin port. It's a regular strait through CA5.

Going to need a 355A no? You can use a regular patch cord. Tradition calls for a D8W line cord.

thanks vad, i was hoping i wasn't going to need to do that. their old tech did all his moves by renumbering ports, so ext numbers are all over he place.
i was trying to make a rj45/db9 hood to plug the ca5 into my serial port, but i think i found it in an earlier post.

thanks again
