Ok I replaced a Legend processor ( that was upgraded to a magix R2.1 V8.0) with a magix R3.0 V7.0 with a claim shell. Heres my problem. every since then ports have been going bad on some magix 4412 phones. this one 024 tdl module/slot. I replaced it with a one that was in our system and working fine. Now some ports are bad in that one as well. Also another 024 tdl module started cutting off phones. meaniing you are on the phone one minute and lights go out, your off the phone. Do you guys think the processor is to blame? It's a double plastic (legend) cabinet. It's also the 3rd time I replaced the 024 TDL in slot 4. IS it the back plain? I know it's been a lightning season and the office park has 4 buildings conttected to one central point.( all one phone system) with any were from 4-12 phones in each building. cable is buried from each building, also has lightning proctection fuses on the 66 blocks. fuses don't go bad, just the ports do. HELP

A few weeks ago I was helping a tech who had a bad port. on a 412 TDL. He replaced the board a few times but each time port 9 kept failing.
As it turned out, we finally pulled the jumper connected to port 10 and port 9 came to life. So whatever was connected to Port 10 was killing port 9. you may have a similar situation.
I would verify that every TDL port that has a jumper, is going to a working phone.
