Does anyone know if it is possible to set a time schedule the system will follow for day / night without using a manual button?
Client would also like to use live answer co lines - 5 rings then AA during the day, then at 5:30 all calls direct to night AA and back to day at 8:30am - no button involved.

Consult your PM R1 documentation for the schedule controller. Note that the "follow both the switch and schedule controller" option is not something you want to enable.

Lane go to your AA number and set up your business schedule to work according to your requirements. Then tell the VM to follow Business schedule or both Switch and Business Mode. In this case you will have and option not to press a button or do that any time you wish to.

The schedule still won't change the number of rings, just determine which message will play.
You still need a NS button to change the rings.

I was hoping to find a way to use the time schedule/greeting with live ring 4-5 times then cover to the AA?

As long as it's 4 or 5 rings all the time (both day and night). There is no way to change the ringing automatically.
