To disable the auto attendant...
From ext 10 you will need to use #206, look at Group 7 and remove any lines assigned to the group.
That should start the ball rolling.

dexman -
thanks for the reply!
I removed the lines from Group 7 but now we have not VM at all.
Would you by chance know how i can make ext 10's VM pickup after any certain ammount of rings?
Thanks again!

That is where Line Ownership comes into play.

I would like to have all three lines continue to ring on all five phones, but if nobody answers, the called will be directed to one VM (on ext. 10) instead of the caller being prompted to enter an extension. So if someone calls my office and nobody answers, they’ll just get the VM on extension 10.
When customers ask for that I tell them that they just paid $$$$ for an answering machine.
See Call Coverage, #208.

I did setup ext 10 as Line ownership in teh VM system, but still no VM. Calls just ring and ring. I also setup Line Coverage for lines to Data 10. Not sure if this was needed.
I know I'm close! Do I need to setup a Hunt Group?

#208 or #206,7,3 ONE or the other, not both.

Hal - I agree that it would just be acting as an answering machine. When I had a large staff we did use the full functionality of the system...but with these hard economic times…I down to a skeleton crew in the office and don’t need this ability anymore. beleive me...I wish i still needed to use it

-Hal Hal - I did #208 (Line Coverage) and associated the lines to Data 10 (which is extension 10 correct?). I also verified that there's no lines associated in any group under #206 - including group 7! Third...I verified Line Ownership in the VM system that the lines are owned by ext 10. Still just rings and rings. Do I need to setup some type of # of rings before picking up? This just seems crazy!
