I added a 16 port extension card 016 Mlx and copied programming from individual extensions to it. Not all programming comes over which is usually easily fixed by reprogramming a couple buttons.

One Button I can’t seem to program on the new extensions on the new card is ( primary cover 7300 -D ) for the Dial Zero calls that normally go to extension 100. In spm I get a programming error and a Green G appears beside the button I have attempted to program.

On the phone when I attempt to program the button I just get a prog error . I can program primary cover for other extensions, but not for extension 7300.

I made sure the new extension was in cover group 30?

Group Coverers : 770 does appear to be absent on the new extensions when I compare a print with the "copied from" extension. How is this added if it is necessary?

What am I missing?

You have a maximum of 8 extensions that can have a coverage button for another extension. So, if you do a print of Ext. 7300, you'll probably find 8 already assigned. But maybe one of those can be deleted so you can add the new one.

If 30 is the Voice Mail Coverage Group, then the Voice Mail Calling Group should appear automatically in the printout.

TTT missed the last part of your question.
Enter programming mode on the set or go to Centralized Programming in SPM.
Press the button.
Dial or enter *22770
Press Enter.
Done.
*22 is AutoDial Inside - can be used for stations, group calling, and group paging.

That was it exactly. After I eliminated the button from a couple extensions I was able to add it to others.

Thanks
